Daniel lives alone in a motel room. Every surface is clean. Every object has its place. Every night follows the same precise rhythm — until it doesn't.
One evening he finds a VHS tape that should not exist. When he plays it, he sees himself — altered by another life, another set of choices. This other version knows things only Daniel could know. And he refuses to stay quiet.
What follows is a psychological confrontation with the life Daniel chose to abandon, the daughter he lost, and the cost of living in control instead of truth.
Analogue is restrained, intimate, and character-driven. Its intensity comes from performance and silence — not spectacle.
Analogue is about the versions of ourselves we construct to survive loss — and the versions we abandon in the process.
Beneath its psychological premise, the film asks a simple question:
If you could meet the person you might have become, would you recognize them?
This film is being made because grief is universal, yet often experienced in isolation. We rarely speak about the lives we imagine, the regrets we carry, or the alternate versions of ourselves that linger quietly beneath the surface.
Analogue seeks to create a space for that conversation — not by providing answers, but by inviting reflection. Through Daniel's journey, the film explores the cost of emotional avoidance, the weight of unresolved loss, and the possibility that healing begins when we finally confront the parts of ourselves we've spent years trying to outrun.
Analogue is positioned within the market of intimate, performance-driven independent cinema — films that rely on atmosphere, psychology, and actor transformation rather than spectacle.

I make films that favor restraint over spectacle. I’m drawn to stories about consequence — how people live with the choices they’ve made, and what happens when control becomes a substitute for healing.
My work explores grief, identity, memory, faith, and the quiet emotional architectures people build in order to survive. I am interested in characters forced to confront themselves, and in stories where emotional truth matters more than easy answers.
Born in Brazil and based in Phoenix, Arizona, I bring a perspective shaped by multiple cultures, documentary storytelling, and a lifelong fascination with human behavior.
After years working in documentary and commercial cinematography — including the internationally distributed feature documentary The Monster Inside Me — ANALOGUE represents my first narrative feature.
